If you recall, I've been working on a film called "The Phobia Archive". This is a 15-20 minute "serious" Batman animation. I have been working on this project for the past 8 months or so. I had about 9 minutes of it completely finished, and additional footage that I hadn't begun editing.
Here's where the awful news comes in: I have lost every last bit of footage. This is completely terrible. It is extremely deflating and I have lost all motivation for this project. Instead of canceling it (which I am inclined to do, but will resist--), I have decided to postpone it indefinitely. I will take a break from "The Phobia Archive" for a few months, and re-visit it sometime in the distant future.
In the meantime, I will work on a few short films to get back into animating, then I will likely work on a longer, funny "Avengers" film. (more details coming soon)
I am so sorry about what happened with "The Phobia Archive". There's nothing I can do to fix what happened. I am having a hard time thinking about it myself. :(
I will re-approach it sometime in the future.
